Having been a Los Angeles Police Officer for over 22 years, I appreciate the cultural and ethnic diversity of our community. I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and have lived there all my adult life. I went to James Monroe High School and Claremont McKenna College (back when it was Claremont Men's College). I did my graduate studies at Cal State Los Angeles.
